No....this is not a new volleyball...it is an old one that I had kept over from my days in Mikasa. It is a training ball for Indoor or Beach that concentrates on your digging ability. So it makes it a mandatory item for a "libero" as their digging skills are "supposed" to be the best on the team. Now let me explain about this ball, it is the weight of a size 5 (normal ball) but is a size 3 whereas a normal ball is size 5, any slip up in technique and you will not be able to dig this ball properly.
